Tyler Rich, born February 24, 1986, in Yuba City, California, is an American country music singer-songwriter. He developed an interest in country music at the age of eight and began learning to play guitar at 14. After graduating from college, Rich moved to Los Angeles where he self-released the single 'Radio' in 2014 along with a four-song extended play. Later, he relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, where he was signed by the Valory Music Group, an imprint of Big Machine Records. Under this label, his single 'The Difference' was released in 2018 and achieved notable chart success, including charting on Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay. The song was certified Gold in the United States and Platinum in Canada and was inspired by his then-fiancée, Sabina Rich. Rich began touring with Brett Young in late 2018. His debut album, 'Two Thousand Miles,' was released on September 4, 2020, and features several successful singles, including 'The Difference,' 'Leave Her Wild,' 'Better Than You’re Used To,' 'A Little Bit of You,' and 'Trucks Don’t Lie.' These tracks have collectively garnered nearly half a billion streams globally and achieved gold certifications, reflecting Rich’s significant presence in the country music scene. In 2022, he collaborated with Canadian singer-songwriter Marie-Mai on a bilingual duet titled 'Thinkin’ We’re In Love,' performed in both English and French.
