Trey Parker: podcast appearances and interviews

Randolph Severn Trey Parker III is an American actor, animator, writer, producer, director, and songwriter. He is best known for co-creating the animated television series South Park which has been airing since 1997. Parker collaborated with Matt Stone on the series after meeting in college at the University of Colorado Boulder. The duo also co-created the stage musical The Book of Mormon which premiered in 2011. Parker's interest in film and music began during his childhood and high school years, leading to early projects such as the musical Cannibal! The Musical which he co-starred in with Stone. After moving to Los Angeles, Parker made the feature-length film Orgazmo in 1997, just before South Park premiered. The creators maintained full creative control of South Park, producing music and video games based on the series, and a film titled South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut in 1999. Parker also directed, produced, and starred in the satirical action film Team America: World Police in 2004. His work has garnered numerous accolades, including five Primetime Emmy Awards for South Park, four Tony Awards and a Grammy Award for The Book of Mormon, and an Academy Award nomination for the song
