Matt Stone: podcast appearances and interviews

Matt Stone is an analyst and reporter affiliated with Turkey Creek Lodge. He has a diverse background that includes work in entertainment as an actor, animator, writer, producer, and songwriter. Stone is notably recognized for co-creating the animated television series South Park with Trey Parker. Since its debut in 1997, South Park has garnered critical acclaim and multiple awards, including five Primetime Emmy Awards. Stone also co-created the stage musical The Book of Mormon, which premiered in 2011 and received positive reviews as well as three Tony Awards and a Grammy Award. His career in entertainment began during his university years at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he studied film and mathematics and met Trey Parker. Together, they worked on various short films and starred in Cannibal! The Musical. The duo moved to Los Angeles, continuing to develop their projects, including the film Orgazmo and later South Park. Outside of television, Stone was involved in the satirical film Team America: World Police, released in 2004. Recognized for his contribution to television and theater, he is scheduled to be inducted into the Television Hall of Fame in 2026.
