Travis Kalanick: podcast appearances and interviews

Travis Cordell Kalanick is an American businessman best known as the co-founder and former chief executive officer of Uber. Prior to Uber, he worked for Scour, a peer-to-peer file sharing application company, and was a co-founder of Red Swoosh, a peer-to-peer content delivery network that was sold to Akamai Technologies in 2007. Kalanick served as Uber's CEO from 2010 until 2017, when he resigned amid pressure related to reports of supposed oversight of sexual harassment issues within the company. Despite stepping down as CEO, he remained a member of Uber's board of directors until December 31, 2019, and sold approximately 90 percent of his Uber shares for $2.5 billion. He is ranked 374th on the Forbes 400 list of the wealthiest Americans, with a net worth of about $3.6 billion. In 2018, Kalanick established the 10100 Fund to invest in e-commerce, innovation, and real estate projects in emerging markets such as China and India. That same year, he announced a nearly $150 million investment in City Storage Systems, a real estate redevelopment company later renamed Atoms, where he also assumed the role of CEO.
