Tim Fletcher: podcast appearances and interviews

Tim Fletcher, born in 1978, is an English-Canadian musician and media and writing manager. He was the vocalist and guitarist for the Montreal-based band The Stills, which disbanded in 2011. Fletcher met his future bandmates at the age of 15 and formed The Stills in 2000. He previously played in an early incarnation of the band Chinatown and was also a member of the heavy metal band Amentum. As a principal songwriter alongside Dave Hamelin, Fletcher initially served as the band's lead singer on their first album, Logic Will Break Your Heart. His role as frontman was later diminished on their second album, Without Feathers, but he returned to lead vocals for their third album, Oceans Will Rise. Following the band's disbandment, Fletcher contributed background vocals to the Sam Roberts Band's 2014 album Lo-Fantasy and played guitar for Canadian rapper k-os. In 2014, he formed the band Beat Cops with Mikey Heppner, releasing the album Mean Streets in 2015. That year, he also released Punks on the Moon with his project Voizes. Fletcher was involved in the formation of Megative, a group inspired by 1970s UK punk and reggae, debuting with the single More Time in 2017 and releasing a self-titled album in 2018. Additionally, he made a cameo appearance in the web series The Plateaus in 2015.
