Thomas Jay Oord: podcast appearances and interviews

Thomas Jay Oord, born in 1965, is a theologian, philosopher, and multidisciplinary scholar. He directs doctoral programs in Open and Relational Theology at Northwind Theological Seminary and oversees the Center for Open and Relational Theology. Oord has an extensive academic background, having served as a tenured professor at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho, for sixteen years, and as a philosophy professor at Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts. He has authored or edited more than thirty books and published hundreds of articles. Oord is recognized for his contributions to various fields including research on love, open theism, process theism, and open and relational theology. His work also encompasses postmodernism, queer theology, the relationship between religion and science, and advocacy related to Wesleyan, holiness, and LGBTQ+ issues.
