About The Kid Mero
Joel Armogasto Martinez, known professionally as the Kid Mero, is a Dominican-American writer, comedian, television host, actor, and internet personality. He gained prominence as part of the duo Desus & Mero with fellow Bronx native Desus Nice. The partnership began with their Complex TV podcast Desus vs. Mero, which premiered on December 18, 2013, and consisted of 46 episodes. The Kid Mero also appeared as a cast member on the television show Guy Code alongside Desus Nice. As a television host, he co-led the Viceland talk show Desus & Mero until June 2018. Subsequently, he co-hosted a new iteration of the show titled Desus & Mero on Showtime, which debuted on February 21, 2019.
