Tara McGowan is an American political strategist and media executive. She has held roles in political campaigns and organizations focusing on digital advertising and communications. McGowan served as the director of the advertising branch of Priorities USA Action, a super PAC that supported Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election. She also worked as a digital producer for Barack Obama's re-election campaign and was the press secretary for United States Senator Jack Reed. As a journalist and strategist, she co-founded and served as CEO of several organizations involved in political media and digital outreach.
