Tananarive Due: podcast appearances and interviews

Tananarive Priscilla Due, born on January 5, 1966, is an American author and educator known for her contributions to horror literature and her expertise as a film historian specializing in Black horror. She has received several prestigious awards for her writing, including the American Book Award for her novel The Living Blood in 2001. Her novel The Reformatory earned her additional accolades with awards such as the Bram Stoker Award for Best Novel, the Shirley Jackson Award for Best Novel, and the World Fantasy Award in 2023. In her academic role, she teaches a course at the University of California, Los Angeles, titled "The Sunken Place: Racism, Survival and the Black Horror Aesthetic," which examines themes related to race and horror cinema, notably focusing on the film Get Out directed by Jordan Peele.
