Tamar Jacoby: podcast appearances and interviews

Tamar Jacoby is the director of the New Ukraine Project at the Progressive Policy Institute. The project, based in Kyiv, focuses on reporting about the war between Russia and Ukraine as well as related political and policy developments in Brussels and Washington, D.C. Jacoby has a background as a journalist and author, having served as a senior writer and justice editor at Newsweek and as the deputy editor of The New York Times op-ed page. She has also held leadership roles in nonprofit organizations. Jacoby was formerly the president of Opportunity America, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit that works to promote economic mobility through initiatives related to work, skills, careers, ownership, and entrepreneurship for poor and working Americans. Prior to that, she was president of ImmigrationWorks USA, a federation of small business owners advocating for immigration reform.
