Suzie Miller: podcast appearances and interviews

Suzie Miller is an Australian playwright, librettist, screenwriter, and lawyer born in 1963 or 1964. She has authored over 40 plays, gaining initial recognition in 2008 with the premiere of Reasonable Doubt at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Among her most notable works is Prima Facie, which was staged in a West End theatre in London in April 2022 and starred Jodie Comer. The production was directed by fellow Australian Justin Martin and received two Olivier Awards. The play had a successful run in Sydney in 2019 before its West End staging and was also broadcast live to cinemas across the UK through NT Live, extending its audience globally. Miller's latest work, Inter Alia, also directed by Martin and starring Rosamund Pike, opened at the National Theatre's Lyttleton Theatre in July 2025. Like Prima Facie, it is scheduled to be broadcast to cinemas through NT Live. Her career is distinguished by her contributions to theatre and her ability to blend legal perspectives into dramatic works.
