Kathleen Hanna: podcast appearances and interviews

Kathleen Hanna, born on November 12, 1968, is an American singer and musician known for her pioneering role in the feminist punk riot grrrl movement. She is the lead singer of the band Bikini Kill and has also fronted the electropunk band Le Tigre. In addition to her musical career, Hanna has worked as a punk zine writer. Her contributions to the early formation of the Riot Grrrl movement have been documented through various mediums, including zines, art pieces, photography, video, journals, and music, which are available at the Fales Library at New York University. In 2013, the documentary film 'The Punk Singer' was released, directed by Sini Anderson, highlighting Hanna's life and career as well as her long-standing battle with Lyme disease. Hanna is married to Adam Horovitz of the Beastie Boys.
