Susan Orlean: podcast appearances and interviews

Susan Orlean, born on October 31, 1955, is an American journalist, television writer, and bestselling author. She is known for her books The Orchid Thief and The Library Book. Orlean has been a staff writer for The New Yorker since 1992, contributing articles to a variety of magazines including Vogue, Rolling Stone, Esquire, and Outside. In 2021, she joined the writing team of the HBO comedy series How To with John Wilson. Her book The Orchid Thief was adapted into the film Adaptation, released in 2002, in which Meryl Streep's performance as Orlean earned an Academy Award nomination.
