Susan Alice Bennett is an American voice actress and former backup singer for Roy Orbison and Burt Bacharach. She was born on July 31, 1949. Bennett is best known for providing the female American voice of Apple's Siri personal assistant, a role she has held since the introduction of Siri on the iPhone 4S on October 4, 2011. She continued to voice Siri until the release of iOS 7 on September 18, 2013. Throughout her career, she has contributed to both the entertainment and technology industries through her vocal work.
