William Stuart Lancaster, born on October 9, 1969, is an English rugby union coach and former player. He is presently a senior coach with Leinster, an Irish rugby club. Lancaster has extensive coaching experience, having managed Leeds Tykes and Carnegie, as well as the England Saxons. In 2011, he was appointed as the head coach of the England national team, a position he held until 2015 when he stepped down following the Rugby World Cup.
