Steven Van Zandt: podcast appearances and interviews

Steven Van Zandt, born on November 22, 1950, is an American musician and actor known for his work as a member of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band, where he plays guitar and mandolin. He is also recognized by his nicknames Little Steven and Miami Steve. Van Zandt has been active as a musician since the 1980s, leading his own solo band called Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul. He has contributed as a songwriter and producer, with his compositions being covered by notable artists including Springsteen, Jackson Browne, Gary U.S. Bonds, Meat Loaf, Darlene Love, Ronnie Spector, Nancy Sinatra, Pearl Jam, Southside Johnny, and others. In addition to his music career, Van Zandt has appeared in several television drama series, most notably as Silvio Dante in the television series The Sopranos from 1999 to 2007 and as Frank Tagliano or Giovanni Johnny Henriksen in Lilyhammer from 2012 to 2014. His contributions to rock and roll have been recognized with his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014 as a member of the E Street Band.
