Steven Davis: podcast appearances and interviews

Steven Davis is the CEO and Co-Founder of the Rural Health Redesign Center. Previously, he was a professional footballer from Northern Ireland, born on January 1, 1985. During his playing career, Davis was a midfielder who represented Northern Ireland at the international level, making 140 appearances and scoring 13 goals. He made his full international debut in 2005 and served as captain during UEFA Euro 2016, leading the team to the last 16. Davis began his club career with Aston Villa in 2004, earning several individual awards during the 2005-06 season. In 2007, he transferred to Fulham, and later that year, he moved on loan to Rangers in Scotland. While with Rangers, he was part of the team that reached the 2008 UEFA Cup final and won multiple Scottish League Cups and Scottish Premier League titles. Following Rangers' liquidation in 2012, Davis exercised his rights under TUPE regulations to return to the Premier League with Southampton, where he made over 200 appearances and captained the team during notable European qualifications and a cup final. He rejoined Rangers in 2019 under manager Steven Gerrard, securing additional league titles and cups, and reaching the 2022 UEFA Europa League final before retiring in January 2024. Throughout his playing career, Davis made a total of 371 appearances, scoring 28 goals. After retirement, he briefly served as interim manager of Rangers and transitioned into coaching, joining Blackburn Rovers as a first team coach in February 2026.
