Steven C. Preston, born on August 4, 1960, is the president and CEO of Goodwill Industries International. He served as the 14th United States secretary of housing and urban development from 2008 to 2009. Prior to that, he was the 22nd Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration, holding the position from 2006 until his appointment to HUD. Before entering public service, Preston accumulated nearly 25 years of experience in financial and operational leadership roles within the private sector.
