Steve Kilbey: podcast appearances and interviews

Steven John Kilbey, born on 13 September 1954, is an English-born Australian musician known primarily as the lead singer and bass guitarist for the rock band The Church. In addition to his work with the band, he has established a solo career, releasing fourteen albums as of 2020. Kilbey has also engaged in various collaborations with artists such as Martin Kennedy, Stephen Cummings, and Ricky Maymi, contributing as a vocalist, musician, writer, and producer. His solo recordings are described as challenging and evocative, spanning a wide range of sounds and emotions from electronic and avant-garde to acoustic and symphonic, and from joyous and dreamy to saturnine and sardonic. Beyond his musical pursuits, Kilbey is involved in poetry and painting.
