Sterling Scott: podcast appearances and interviews

Sterling Scott is a Canadian stand-up comedian and the founder and President of Trust Public Adjusting Group. Originally from Scarborough, Ontario, he relocated to Edmonton, Alberta, after an attempt to join the 2006 MuchMusic VJ Search did not succeed. Scott began his comedy career in Edmonton in the late 2000s following a brief period working in the Alberta oil sands. He became the regular host of The Dating Game at Krush Ultralounge, a live comedy game show based on the television program, which led to an audition to produce a TV version for Kevin Hart's Laugh Out Loud Productions. Scott has competed in notable comedy competitions, finishing fourth in the San Francisco Comedy Competition in 2014 and winning the same contest in 2019. He also placed third in the Seattle International Comedy Competition in 2014. In 2020, Scott co-hosted Be the Change, a digital anti-racism special created in response to the George Floyd protests. He appeared in the first season of Roast Battle Canada in 2021, facing Brittany Lyseng and Alan Shane Lewis. Additionally, he has performed on CBC Radio One's The Debaters and has appeared at various comedy venues across Canada, including the Just for Laughs festival. In 2024, Scott competed in the fourth season of Canada's Got Talent, where he received the golden buzzer from Trish Stratus.
