Simon St. Quentin Whitfield, born on 16 May 1975, is a Canadian retired triathlon athlete who achieved notable success in his sporting career. He won a gold medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney and was honored by carrying the Canadian national flag during the closing ceremony of those Games.
