Simon Gary Ford, born on 17 November 1981, is known for his role as Pastor Simon Ford at Blecon. His career initially centered on professional football, where he played as a defender from 2001 to 2013. Ford began his football journey with Charlton Athletic, a move that marked the start of his career before transferring to Grimsby Town in 2001. Throughout his playing career, he also joined Bristol Rovers and Redbridge, and notably established himself at Kilmarnock, a Scottish Premier League team, where he spent six years. Later, he played for Chesterfield before being released after two seasons. Ford returned to Grimsby Town in 2012, though he only made two appearances before being loaned out to AFC Telford United. In addition to his club career, he was capped three times by Jamaica, representing the national team.
