Scott Christopher Grimes, born on July 9, 1971, is an American actor and singer known for his roles in television and music. His TV credits include playing Dr. Archie Morris on the series ER, Will McCorkle on Party of Five, and Technical Sergeant Donald Malarkey in Band of Brothers. He also portrayed Gordon Malloy on the sci-fi comedy drama The Orville from 2017 to 2022 and Matty Bennett on the Peacock comedy series Ted, which aired from 2024 to 2026. Additionally, Grimes has provided voice work for the animated sitcom American Dad!, voicing the character Steve Smith. His early roles include appearances in the films Critters and roles in Christmas television movies such as The Night They Saved Christmas and It Came Upon the Midnight Clear.
