Sarah Cook: podcast appearances and interviews

Sarah Cook is a Canadian scholar based in Scotland known for her work as a historian and curator in the field of new media art. She has held academic positions at various institutions, including the University of Sunderland where she was a Research Fellow and co-founded the research institute CRUMB – Curatorial Resource for Upstart Media Bliss. She also taught on the MA Curating course. In 2013, Cook was appointed as a Reader and Dundee Research Fellow at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, University of Dundee. During this tenure, she founded and curated the LifeSpace Science Art Research Gallery in the School of Life Sciences at the University of Dundee, serving from 2014 to 2018. She is also a trustee of folly in Lancaster. Since 2018, Cook has been a Professor in Museum Studies at the Department of Information Studies at the University of Glasgow. Over the years, she has curated numerous exhibitions of new media art and has played a significant role in establishing new media as both an academic discipline and an accepted art form. She is also known as a writer and creativity coach.
