Salena Zito: podcast appearances and interviews

Salena Zito is an American political journalist and author based in Pennsylvania. She works as a reporter for the Washington Examiner and contributes to The Washington Post. Zito has previously served as a columnist for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review and the New York Post and has been a contributor to CNN. She co-authored the book The Great Revolt in 2018 with Brad Todd, which received praise from Donald Trump. Her 2025 book, Butler, about the attempted assassination of Donald Trump in Pennsylvania, debuted at number one on The New York Times Best Seller list and was optioned for a movie by Pensé Productions. Zito's career has included various reputable roles in journalism, but she has also faced accusations from other reporters of misrepresenting sources and fabricating quotes, and she has been found to have plagiarized from other writers in at least three instances.
