Ryan Miller: podcast appearances and interviews

Ryan Miller is an American filmmaker and the host of The Jesus People Podcast. He attended Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School. Known primarily for his career in professional ice hockey, Miller played as a goaltender for 18 seasons in the National Hockey League. During his NHL tenure, he was associated with the Buffalo Sabres, St. Louis Blues, Vancouver Canucks, and Anaheim Ducks. Drafted 138th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1999 NHL entry draft, Miller achieved notable success, including winning the Vezina Trophy in 2010 as the league's best goaltender. He held the record as the winningest American-born goaltender in NHL history from February 2019 until March 2024, when Jonathan Quick surpassed him. Miller's achievements include his induction into the Buffalo Sabres Hall Of Fame in January 2023, with his jersey number 30 retired, and his induction into the Rochester Americans Hall of Fame in April 2025. He represented the United States in the Winter Olympics in 2010 and 2014, serving as the starting goaltender in 2010 and earning a silver medal and tournament MVP honors, and participating as a selected team member in 2014. Miller is recognized for his hybrid style of goaltending and is one of 39 NHL goaltenders to have won at least 300 games in his career. He is also the older brother of former NHL forward Drew Miller.
