Rory J. Scovel, born August 6, 1980, is an American comedian, actor, and writer. He began his stand-up comedy career with the release of his first album Dilation in 2011. Following this, he has released several stand-up specials including The Charleston Special in 2015, Rory Scovel Tries Stand-Up for the First Time in 2017, Live Without Fear in 2021, and Religion, Sex, and a Few Things in Between in 2024. As an actor, Scovel started his career as part of the main cast on the sitcoms Ground Floor and Those Who Can't. He co-starred in the film I Feel Pretty and contributed as a writer and performer on The Eric Andre Show. In the 2020s, he created and starred in his Comedy Central series Robbie and played a role in the Apple TV+ series Physical. His work spans stand-up comedy, television, and film, showcasing a diverse career in the entertainment industry.
