Rob May: podcast appearances and interviews

Rob May, born on 15 February 1969 in London, is a musician, songwriter, and record producer with a diverse career spanning various aspects of the entertainment industry. He co-founded and toured with Beehive, which received the MOBO Best Gospel Act award in 1997 for their self-produced album, Brand New Day. He has performed as a keyboardist for acts including Honeyz, Misteeq, 911, Louise, and Lulu, and his production and mixing credits include artists such as Alex Parks, Moya Brennan, RyanDan, Will Martin, and Connie Talbot. Notably, he produced Connie Talbot's 'Over The Rainbow', which earned Gold status in the UK and Platinum sales in Asia, and the single ‘Three Little Birds’, which reached number 1 on the US Billboard Hot Singles Sales chart. Beyond music, May has extensive credits in television writing and production, contributing to programs such as Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, CNN's Daybreak, and Wogan Now & Then. He has written and produced theme tunes for sports and broadcast events including Setanta Sports' football coverage, UEFA Euro qualifiers, Vancouver Winter Olympics, and various international sports leagues. His work in audio branding includes projects for UEFA, Talk TV Channel, Jeem TV, NRT TV, Pokerstars, Guinness, and the BAFTA-winning Fame Academy series. He has been nominated for two Music and Sound Awards for work on Futsal and Talk TV. May composed the official broadcast themes for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics and re-arranged the official FIFA anthem in 2011. His recent compositions include themes for the CONCACAF Nations League, FIFA Africa Qualifiers, and other major sports events.
