Rob Brydon: podcast appearances and interviews

Rob Brydon is a Welsh actor, comedian, impressionist, presenter, singer, and writer born on May 3, 1965. He gained prominence through his roles in film, television, and radio, notably in the black comedy series Human Remains, the mockumentary series Marion and Geoff, and the chat show spoof The Keith Barret Show. Brydon also starred in the comedy series Supernova and played Bryn West in the BBC sitcom Gavin & Stacey from 2007 to 2024, earning a BAFTA Award nomination for Best Comedy Performance. He has collaborated frequently with Steve Coogan, acting in several films directed by Michael Winterbottom, including 24 Hour Party People, A Cock and Bull Story, and the Trip series. His film resume also includes roles in Cinderella, The Huntsman: Winter's War, Holmes & Watson, and Barbie. Since 2009, Brydon has been the host of the BBC One comedy panel show Would I Lie to You? He previously played himself as the host of Rob Brydon's Annually Retentive, a fictional panel show on BBC Three. His television work also includes hosting his own late-night chat show, The Rob Brydon Show, and the 2014 Saturday-night game show The Guess List for BBC One. Recognized for his contributions to comedy and broadcasting, Brydon was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire in 2013 for services to comedy, broadcasting, and charitable activities.
