Josh Widdicombe: podcast appearances and interviews

Joshua Michael Widdicombe is an English comedian, presenter, and actor born on 8 April 1983. He is recognized for his appearances on multiple television programs including The Last Leg, Fighting Talk, Insert Name Here, and Mock the Week. Widdicombe also starred in his own BBC Three sitcom titled Josh, which aired from 2015 to 2017. In addition to his television work, he has been announced as the host of the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2026. Widdicombe gained further prominence by winning the first series of Taskmaster in 2015, as well as its first Champion of Champions special in 2017. He co-hosted Hypothetical with fellow comedian James Acaster from 2019 to 2022. During the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, Widdicombe launched the Parenting Hell podcast with Rob Beckett, another comedian. His diverse career includes television presenting, acting, and podcasting, making him a well-known figure in the British comedy scene.
