Richard Ayoade: podcast appearances and interviews

Richard Ayoade is a British comedian, actor, writer, director, and presenter born on 23 May 1977. He gained prominence for his portrayal of Maurice Moss, a socially awkward IT technician, in the Channel 4 sitcom The IT Crowd, which aired from 2006 to 2013. For this role, he received the 2014 BAFTA award for Best Male Comedy Performance. During his time at the University of Cambridge, Ayoade served as president of the Footlights club. He and Matthew Holness created characters that debuted at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2000, later bringing them to television in Garth Marenghi's Darkplace and Man to Man with Dean Learner. Ayoade's television appearances include comedy shows such as The Mighty Boosh and Nathan Barley.
