Pierce Brosnan: podcast appearances and interviews

Pierce Brendan Brosnan is an Irish actor who gained worldwide recognition for his portrayal of James Bond in four films released between 1995 and 2002. His performances in GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, and Die Another Day established him as a prominent figure in the action genre. Brosnan initially trained in commercial illustration before attending the Drama Centre in London for three years. After a stage career and a notable role in the television series Remington Steele from 1982 to 1987, he transitioned to film, appearing in projects such as The Fourth Protocol and Mrs. Doubtfire. Following his tenure as Bond, Brosnan starred in a variety of films including Dante's Peak, The Thomas Crown Affair, The Ghost Writer, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, The November Man, and Mamma Mia! along with its sequel. His recent work includes the 2020 film Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga and his role as Kent Nelson or Doctor Fate in the 2022 film Black Adam. Brosnan also narrated the 2008 Thomas & Friends film The Great Discovery. In addition to his acting career, he co-founded Irish DreamTime, a production company, with American film producer Beau St. Clair in 1996. He has received two Golden Globe Award nominations and was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1997 for his contributions to film. Recognized as one of Ireland’s greatest film actors, he was ranked 15th on The Irish Times' list of the greatest Irish film actors in 2020. Brosnan is also known for his charitable work and environmental activism.
