Phillip Wayne Williams Jr. is an American politician, radio show host, and attorney from Alabama. Born on March 20, 1965, he served in the Alabama Senate from 2010 to 2018, representing the 10th district which includes Etowah County and parts of Cherokee County. A member of the Republican Party, Williams has been active in politics and public policy within the state. After his legislative career, he took on the role of policy director for the Alabama Policy Institute. In addition to his work in policy, Williams hosts a conservative radio program called Rightside Radio. His career path has included roles in public service, media, and policy advocacy. As of October 2025, Williams was nominated by President Donald Trump to serve as the United States Attorney for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
