Wesley Harrison Allen, born on August 15, 1975, is an American politician currently serving as the secretary of state of Alabama, a position he has held since 2023. Prior to his tenure as secretary of state, he was a probate judge and a member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing the 89th district from 2018 to 2022. Allen was elected as secretary of state in 2022. In February 2025, he announced his candidacy for the office of Alabama Lieutenant Governor in the 2026 Republican Primary.
