Peter Moskos: podcast appearances and interviews

Peter Moskos is an American author and professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where he serves in the Department of Law, Police Science, and Criminal Justice Administration. He is also affiliated with the CUNY Graduate Center in the Department of Sociology. Moskos has a background as a Baltimore Police Department officer and is the son of sociologist Charles Moskos. His academic work focuses on policing, crime, and punishment. Moskos gained recognition for his book In Defense of Flogging, which advocates for offering convicted individuals a choice between incarceration and corporal punishment.
