Peter Holsapple: podcast appearances and interviews

Peter Livingston Holsapple, born on February 19, 1956, is an American musician known for his role in the band the dB's. Alongside Chris Stamey, he founded the band in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Holsapple became the band's principal songwriter and singer following Stamey's departure. The band, which initially disbanded in 1988, reformed with new material in 2005–2006, with Stamey returning. After the dB's disbanded, Holsapple worked as an auxiliary musician with bands such as R.E.M. and Hootie & the Blowfish. He also joined the Continental Drifters, a Los Angeles-based rock band. In 1997, Holsapple released his first solo album titled Out of the Way. He later released the albums Game Day in 2018 and Face of 68 in 2025.
