Peter Coyote: podcast appearances and interviews

Peter Coyote, born Robert Peter Cohon on October 10, 1941, is an American actor, director, screenwriter, author, and narrator. He has appeared in a variety of films including E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Cross Creek, Jagged Edge, Bitter Moon, Kika, Patch Adams, Erin Brockovich, A Walk to Remember, and Femme Fatale. His voice work is also notable, encompassing narration for the opening ceremony of the 2002 Winter Olympics and the PBS series The Pacific Century, which earned him an Emmy Award. Additionally, he received a Primetime Emmy Award in 2015 for his narration in Ken Burns's documentary series The Roosevelts: An Intimate History. Beyond his work in film and television, Coyote was one of the founders of the Diggers, an anarchist improv group active in San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury district during the 1960s, including the Summer of Love. He is also known as an activist and Zen priest, reflecting his engagement with social issues and spiritual practice.
