Perry Farrell: podcast appearances and interviews

Perry Farrell, born Peretz Bernstein on March 29, 1959, is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He began his music career with Psi Com in the early 1980s before becoming the frontman of Jane's Addiction. The band played a significant role in the Los Angeles music scene of the 1980s, blending punk, metal, and psychedelic rock to develop a distinctive sound. Their daring live performances and experimental approach resonated with disillusioned youth, helping to establish alternative music as a form of rebellion and self-expression. Farrell is often referred to as the 'Godfather of Alternative Music' due to his influence in shaping the genre. In 1991, during a farewell tour for Jane's Addiction, Farrell founded the Lollapalooza festival, which has grown into an annual event featuring multiple musical genres. He is also the frontman of Porno for Pyros and has released several solo albums. Throughout his career, Farrell has launched various music-related projects including Kind Heaven Orchestra, Satellite Party, and Heaven After Dark.
