Oksana Masters: podcast appearances and interviews

Oksana Oleksandrivna Masters, born on June 19, 1989, is an American multi-sport Paralympic athlete from Louisville, Kentucky. She has competed in rowing, cross-country skiing, and para-cycling, earning recognition as the most decorated winter Paralympian. In rowing, she secured the United States' first ever medal in trunk and arms mixed double sculls at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London. She also participated in the 2014 and 2018 Winter Paralympics as part of the U.S. Nordic skiing team, winning two medals in 2014 and five medals, including two golds, in 2018. After the 2012 Paralympics, she transitioned to para-cycling, competing in the 2016 and 2020 Summer Paralympics and winning two gold medals at the 2020 Tokyo Games. Most recently, she competed at the 2022 Winter Paralympics, earning a gold medal in the women's 6 kilometers sitting biathlon. In 2020, she received the Laureus World Sportsperson of the Year with a Disability award, recognizing her achievements across multiple sports and her impact within the Paralympic community.
