Elana Meyers Taylor, born Elana Alessandra Meyers on October 10, 1984, is an American Olympic bobsledder who has been competing since 2007. She was born in Oceanside, California, and grew up in Douglasville, Georgia. Meyers Taylor attended George Washington University, where she played on the softball team. Over the course of her career, she has achieved notable success in the sport, earning three silver medals and two bronze medals across four Olympic Games before winning her first gold medal at the 2026 Winter Olympics at the age of 41. Additionally, she is a four-time World Champion, securing two gold medals in the two-woman event and two in the mixed team event. Her accomplishments position her as a prominent figure in American bobsledding.
