Nina Smith née Gotfred-Rasmussen, born in 1955, is a Danish economist known for her contributions to the field. She has held the position of Professor of Economics and Business at Aarhus University since 2005. Throughout her career, she has occupied several significant roles, including research professor at the German Institute for Economic Research and head of the board of the Independent Research Fund Denmark. As of July 2021, she serves on the boards of prominent Danish financial companies such as Nykredit. Currently, she is also known as a PhD student within the organisation colours_by_nina.
