Nikki Sixx: podcast appearances and interviews

Nikki Sixx, born Frank Carlton Serafino Feranna Jr. on December 11, 1958, is an American musician, songwriter, record producer, author, photographer, and radio personality. He is best known as the co-founder, bassist, primary songwriter, and the only constant member of the heavy metal band Mötley Crüe. Before forming Mötley Crüe, Sixx was a member of the band Sister, and he subsequently established the band London with his Sister bandmate Lizzie Grey. In 2000, he formed the side project group 58 with Dave Darling, Steve Gibb, and Bucket Baker, which released one album titled Diet for a New America. Additionally, in 2002, he formed the hard rock supergroup Brides of Destruction with Tracii Guns of L.A. Guns. In 2006, he created Sixx:A.M., a side band initially conceived to record an audio companion to his autobiography The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star; the band included songwriter, producer, and vocalist James Michael and guitarist DJ Ashba. Beyond performing, Sixx has worked as a songwriter and producer for an array of artists including Steve Jones, Lita Ford, Alice Cooper, Meat Loaf, Marion Raven, Drowning Pool, Saliva, and The Last Vegas. He also launched the clothing line Royal Underground in 2006, initially focusing on men's apparel before expanding into women's fashion. In 2010, Sixx co-hosted the nationally syndicated radio programs Sixx Sense and The Side Show Countdown, both based in Dallas, Texas.
