Nicole Jai Budzinski was born on March 11, 1977. She is an American trade unionist and politician who has served as the U.S. representative for Illinois's 13th congressional district since 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, Budzinski has spent the majority of her career working for trade unions. Prior to her election to Congress, she served as chief of staff to the director of the Office of Management and Budget in the Biden administration beginning in 2021.
