Nicole Sealey: podcast appearances and interviews

Nicole Sealey is an American poet born in 1979 in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, and raised in Apopka, Florida. She has served as the executive director of the Cave Canem Foundation. Sealey is the author of the chapbook The Animal After Whom Other Animals Are Named, which received the 2015 Drinking Gourd Chapbook Poetry Prize. Her poetry collection Ordinary Beast was a finalist for the 2018 PEN Open Book Award. In October 2021, her poem Pages 22–29, an excerpt from The Ferguson Report: An Erasure, was awarded the Forward Prize for Poetry. Sealey currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
