Nick Foligno is an American professional hockey player who plays as a left winger. He has been associated with the Blackhawks. Foligno was born on October 31, 1987. He was selected in the first round of the 2006 NHL entry draft, 28th overall, by the Ottawa Senators. He was later traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets, where he played for six years. Foligno comes from a family with a strong hockey background; his father, Mike Foligno, is a veteran of over 1,000 NHL games, and his brother, Marcus Foligno, is his teammate on the Minnesota Wild.
