Nia Talita Long is an American actress born on October 30, 1970. She is well recognized for her work in black cinema and rose to prominence with her role in the film Boyz n the Hood in 1991. That same year, she gained wider recognition for her portrayal of Beulah Lisa Wilkes on the NBC sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, a role she played until 1995. Long has appeared in several notable films including Friday, Love Jones, and Soul Food. Her filmography also features roles in The Best Man, Big Momma's House, and the Michael Jackson biopic Michael where she portrayed Katherine Jackson. On television, Long played Sasha Monroe on the crime drama series Third Watch from 2003 to 2005. She has also starred in the Fox drama series Empire and the CBS action series NCIS: Los Angeles.
