Natasha Brown: podcast appearances and interviews

Natasha Brown is the principal of Westover Middle School. While she is known for her work in broadcast journalism, her career includes multiple roles in the television industry. She has served as an anchor and reporter at KYW-TV in Philadelphia, where she has reported for CBS News Philadelphia on weeknights and has been the sole anchor of CBS News Philadelphia at Noon since January 2026. Additionally, she is a weekday co-anchor of CBS News Philadelphia at 4 pm, working alongside Siafa Lewis, and anchors the 5 p.m. broadcast with Ukee Washington. Brown joined KYW-TV in December 2002 as a morning anchor and reporter, and has also hosted Speak Up, a public affairs program on WPSG. Her journalism career began at WPDE-TV in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and she has worked as a reporter at WPXI-TV in Pittsburgh and as a weekend anchor and reporter at WWBT in Richmond, Virginia. Brown's work has been recognized with three Emmy Awards for excellence in reporting, and she was inducted into the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia hall of fame in 2016. She has also been honored twice as the Most Influential Black Woman by the NAACP. Her background in communications was earned through a Bachelor of Arts degree from James Madison University.
