Nancy Lamoureux Wilson, born on March 16, 1954, is an American musician known primarily for her role as the lead guitarist with the rock band Heart. Raised in Bellevue, Washington, she began playing music during her teenage years and joined her sister Ann Wilson in the band during college. Heart achieved widespread commercial success as one of the first hard rock bands fronted by women, releasing numerous albums from the 1970s through the 1990s, including notable titles such as Dreamboat Annie and Little Queen. These albums produced chart-topping singles like Magic Man, Crazy on You, and Barracuda. The band also found success with later albums Heart, Bad Animals, and Brigade, and has sold over 35 million records worldwide.
