Nancy Ward: podcast appearances and interviews

Nancy Ward, known as Nanyehi in Cherokee, was a Cherokee Beloved Woman and political leader during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. She was recognized for her advocacy of peaceful coexistence with European Americans and later in life, she spoke out in favor of the Cherokee retention of tribal hunting lands. Her influence extended beyond politics to economic contributions, as she is credited with introducing dairy products to the Cherokee economy. Currently, she serves as the Executive Director of the Veterans of the Evangelical Society at Tinker Federal Credit Union. Her leadership role involves guiding organizational initiatives and representing the interests of veterans within the financial institution.
