Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah is an American speculative fiction author known for his thought-provoking works including the short-story collection Friday Black, published in 2018, and the novel Chain-Gang All-Stars, published in 2023. His writing has garnered critical recognition and has been celebrated for its engaging and often provocative exploration of contemporary issues. In 2018, he was named a 5 under 35 Honoree by the National Book Foundation. The following year, he received the PEN/Jean Stein Book Award.
